The RPM gear cover is a great upgrade for the XXX. The stock cover is flimsy (to say the least) and does not provide much protection from anything at all. It is so thin is does not seat well against the motor plate and does a poor job of keeping out the crud. The stocker also has a tough to remove adjustment plug (to access the slipper nut).

The RPM cover is MUCH thicker and is what you would expect from RPM....it's TOUGH! The adjustment plug is an actual rubber-like compound so it seals nicely and removes easily (not too easily though). It even comes with two new screws for mounting! The covers are available in all the standard RPM colors to match your ride.

We can't find anything wrong with this cover, especially when it comes to price! I think we paid about $6 or $8 for it at our local hobby store. PLEASE!!! Put it on your list of things to buy.

UPDATE: WE have added one of these to our Associated B4 Brushless Buggy and it works every bit as well as the XXX-T plate. This is one TOUGH cover and does a fantastic job of keeping junk out of your teeth, even at 50+MPH!
